STUDIO ENDO LIGHTING

Studio Endo got started in 2012 in Providence, RI where we worked closely with New England and New York-based interior designers to create one-of-a-kind furniture before moving into the field of lighting design. We started making lighting fixtures in 2016, and to date, we have produced thousands of our hand-made light fixtures.

In 2020, we relocated from Providence, RI across the US to South El Monte in Los Angeles County, CA. Fabrication, Assembly, Testing, and Packaging of all of our orders are done from our new studio and production space. We have a small showroom at the front of our building available for visit by appointment. Come and visit us!

ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Miles Endo was born in Tokyo, Japan and raised in Honolulu, HI. As the son of two musicians, he gravitated to creative pursuits at an early age. He graduated from Rhode Island School of Design's Industrial Design program, where he discovered a passion for working with a hands-on process. Miles' design process is ingrained in creating within a workshop, where he can truly understand materials and turn concepts and drawings into reality. Miles founded Studio Endo in 2012, building custom furniture before transitioning into lighting design. In 2016 Miles launched his first collection of lighting fixtures and has since focused on this category.

Our designs provide both functional illumination and a tasteful, distinctive decor to interior spaces. We have designed and developed a system of lighting components that enables us to create new designs that can be delivered faster than our overseas competitors. Our lighting collection creates an aesthetic harmony and bold statement while letting beautiful architecture be seen in its best light.

pROCESS

MATERIALS

We strive to use the highest quality components and tested methods of craftsmanship to ensure our lights stand the test of time. Our lights use energy-efficient LED’s with a 50,000-hour rating and a 90+ CRI (color rendering index) rating. We use LED drivers from reputable companies, and UL-Listed wiring and connectors. Our lights are crafted from laser-cut steel and finished in a range of signature outdoor-rated powder coat colors. Custom lighting projects are designed to meet the environmental conditions of the project site.
